WAHLER EGR System - Reducing Pollution And Improving Efficiency

The automobile exhaust gas circulation system, also known as the EGR system, is an external purification technology used to redirect some of the exhaust gas discharged by the engine back into the cylinder, and together with fresh mixture, it enters the cylinder again. The exhaust gas contains a large amount of polyatomic gases such as CO2, which cannot be burned but absorb a large amount of heat due to their high specific heat capacity. This lowers the maximum combustion temperature of the mixture in the cylinder, thereby reducing the amount of NOx generated.

The automobile oil-water separator is a type of fuel filter mainly used to separate water from diesel, in order to reduce fuel injector failures and extend the service life of the engine. Its working principle is mainly based on the density difference between water and fuel, using the principle of gravity sedimentation to remove impurities and water. There are also separation elements such as diffusion cones and filters inside to enhance the effect of oil-water separation.

The exhaust pipe of a car is used to draw out the exhaust gas generated in the engine and send it to the exhaust pipe. The main function of the exhaust pipe is to discharge the exhaust gas from the engine to maintain its normal operation.

In car engines, the combustion of the combustible mixture in the cylinder produces high-temperature gases, which need to be discharged through the exhaust valve. The exhaust pipe leads out these high-temperature gases and delivers them to the exhaust pipe. In the exhaust pipe, high-temperature gas is treated by purification devices such as silencers and three-way catalytic converters, and finally discharged from the outside of the vehicle.
